How Much Water Should I Drink everyday?
While most nutritional experts recommend a minimum of eight 8-ounce servings of water per day-your particular requirement depends upon several factors including:
Your Weight-one formula that some medical experts use, suggests that you drink (in ounces) one-half of your body weight (example: An 180lb person would try to drink 90 ounces of water per day, which equates to eleven 8-ounce servings).
Your Activity Level-dieticians recommend drinking an additional 1 to 3 cups of additional water per hour of physical activity.
Outside Temperature-if you are in extremely warm or cold temperatures you should increase your water intake.
Humidity Level-with lower humidity, your body will need additional water.
Altitude Level-at higher elevations, your body works harder to breathe, thereby more water is evaporating from your body.
Many People Don't Drink Enough Water for a few simple reasons:
Taste of their Tap Water
Lack of Convenience to Good Tasting Water
They simply Forget to Grab a Glass of Water
With one of our Bottled Water Coolers in your home or your office-we can eliminate all of the above excuses!!
What are some of the Common Symptoms of Dehydration?
Due to the fact that our brains are made up of 75% water, even mild dehydration can cause headaches, dizziness and nausea. Lack of water is the number one trigger for daytime fatigue. Moderate levels of dehydration can cause a rise in the body’s temperature, create muscle aches, and can lead to heat exhaustion.
Dieting and Water-What are the Benefits?
Water is almost always used as a valuable tool to those trying to maintain or lose weight. Water serves as an appetite suppressant and helps to break down and reduce the body’s fat deposits. Water also helps the body process foods high in fiber. Research shows that even mild dehydration can slow down one’s metabolism by as much as 3%.
How Do I know what the Quality of my Water Is?
The Water Quality varies considerably amongst the many communities that we serve. While the various municipal water sources in Colorado almost always meets the minimum EPA standards, the taste and odor do vary by community. If your water source is from a municipal source, your supplier will usually send you a copy of their annual water analysis. If your water source is from an individual well, we often recommend getting an updated water analysis from an independent, certified lab every couple of years.
If you are concerned about your water quality, we do perform a free water analysis of your home’s water quality. Feel Free to Contact us regarding this service.

For Residential Service, the average usage is approximately 1 bottle per person per month. So an average family of 4 would go through approximately 4 bottles per month. Again, this is simply an average, your family’s usage will vary based on several factors. For residential accounts, we typically deliver water every four weeks on a regularly scheduled route. However, if you ever run low on water, just give us a call and we will make a special delivery.
For Business Accounts, the average usage is approximately ½ of bottle per person per month. Again, this average does vary considerably based upon individual habits, etc. For business accounts, we typically deliver water every 2 or 4 weeks– depending upon your usage. However, if you ever run low on water, just give us a call and we will make a special delivery.
How Often Do You Deliver your Water?
We Deliver on regularly scheduled routes. The routes are typically either every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks-depending upon your usage. We will provide you with a calendar of all of the delivery dates for the year.
Do I need to be home for Deliveries?
Other than the initial set-up of the account, you do not need to be home for us to make deliveries. On your scheduled delivery days, you simply need to leave your empty bottles by your front door (or any other pre-arranged spot) and we will replace them with the same number of full bottles.
*Due to Covid-19 we have recently changed the way we do our setups so that you no longer need to be home for your initial setup. Contact us for more information!
What is the Length of Your Contracts?
At RMBW, we do not have any Long Term Contracts to Sign! Unlike most of our competitors, we don’t believe that you should be required to sign a long-term contract to enjoy our service. Whether you are interested in our Bottled Water Service, or renting one of our Water Filtration Systems, we stand behind our service on a day-to-day basis. If, at any time, you are not 100% satisfied with our service and/or our product, we believe that you should have the right to immediately cancel your service with no further obligation.
What are Bottle Deposits?
Bottle Deposits are a standard industry practice that companies charge to ensure the return of their bottles. RMBW, like most of its competitors, charges a one-time bottle deposit of $6.00 per bottle to its customers. This is a fully refundable deposit, and is typically only charged on your initial supply of bottles. On most deliveries, we will normally exchange an equal number of full bottles for your empty bottles–however, if on a subsequent order you increase (or decrease) your inventory of bottles you will be charged (or credited) the appropriate bottle deposits.
